In the manner of E. W. Godwin
Re-upholstered in black silk velvet, the ebonised beech frame with turned legs, uprights and stretchers, with turned lattice bracing on the front stretcher, all very much in the progressive 'Japanese' taste of the Aesthetic movement
Possibly made by William Watt, who was known to have produced many of Godwin's designs
