New Fabrics for Spring 2024
The Rose Uniacke fabric collection includes 23 new exclusive fabrics. The collection is a gentle reference to the past, acting as an opportunity to revisit and revive traditional fabrics and weaves; with each united by expert craftsmanship and elegance.
Embracing Rose Uniacke’s love for colour, the palette is both soft and strong - with opulent jewel toned silk velvets, rich earthy mohairs, bright saturated cotton velvets and fresh uplifting silks and organzas. As always, the fabrics are underpinned by a continued emphasis on sustainability; ensuring considered production practices and the use of organic and natural fibres throughout.
Referred to as the 'noble fibre', our Mohair Velvets are woven with the highest quality mohair available in a luxurious and sumptuous velvet. New additions include Caramel, Fox Tail and Redwood.
Expertly crafted in Italy in a mill that dates back over 100 years, Silk Velvets reflect a timelessness and refinement that can only be achieved through years of honed craft and expertise. New additions include Fallow, Flaxen and Goldcrest.
Woven with a 100% organic cotton pile and base, our Cotton Velvets are a feat of innovation as they retain the performance (100,000 martindale) and saturation of colour expected of a cotton velvet, while still being able to put sustainability at the forefront through the use of 100% organic yarn. New additions include Custard, Glacier and Russet.
Our Heavy Weight Cotton Velvet Category combines the softness of cotton with a heavier weight and longer pile to create a generously plush look and feel. New additions include Sunlight and Vermillion.
Drawing inspiration from antique ticking fragments, our Heavy Weight Linen Ticking is derived from a classic French ticking stripe. New additions include Rum and Raisin, Banana Split, Cookies and Cream, Matcha Sorbet and Salted Caramel.
Woven with 100% hemp grown, spun, and woven in Europe, a focus on sustainability is seen throughout the entire production process of this beautifully fluid fabric. Hemp in Chevron features a soft and supple handle in a distinct herringbone weave, with a slubby texture characteristic of 100% hemp.
Pairing the excellent properties of wool together with an intricate and unique weave to offer texture and warmth, Textured Wool in Rice Pudding is woven in the UK.
Silk Linen Blend in Puff is a lightweight and luxurious crepe with a silk, linen and cotton weft entwined around a silk warp.
An elegant and decorative sheer, the intricate weave of Sheer Linen Wool Blend in Cream Tea is specially produced on an impressive jacquard double-width loom.
Handloomed silks Cob, Haystack and Ripple are 100% silk are woven entirely on handlooms by village weavers in India.
