About this piece
With pierced geometric lattice sides decorated alternately with hammered and lined motifs, leading to an overhanging top with the same motifs mirrored in the frieze. With an inset stone top.
France, circa 1928.
Designed for the Rue de Faubourg shop of Maison Hatot, an important Parisien watch and jewellery designer and manufacturer. This table has the 'Ato' mark on the underside - a mark that from 1920 appeared on the clocks, jewellery and furniture designed by Leon Hatot.
