Inspired by turn of the century Parisian tiles and glazed brickwork, the Tiled Coffee Table is populated using five varieties of custom-made earthenware tiles glazed and fired in Stoke-on-Trent. An exercise in precision, tonal mortar holds each hand-placed tile along the table top, edges and column pedestal base.

Inspired by turn of the century Parisian tiles and glazed brickwork, the Tiled Coffee Table is populated using five varieties of custom-made earthenware tiles glazed and fired in Stoke-on-Trent. An exercise in precision, tonal mortar holds each hand-placed tile along the table top, edges and column pedestal base.
Due to the traditional handmade process of ceramic tiles, there may be subtle irregularities to their shape, shade or possible crazing. Tiles naturally expand and contract at different rates and this causes very small hairline cracks known as 'crazing'. We welcome these minute interactions which render each table totally unique.
